When Palestine is liberated, I will no longer see my people with terror in their eyes or the struggle to have a morning’s fresh air without hearing gunshots or bombs tearing down their villages, homes, families, and most of all our beloved Palestine. In our hearts we will always know it was never Israel but Palestine. We will be able to go to our religious sanctuary, Jerusalem, and not be denied of access, we will not have the need to show our hawea and be questioned. We will have the right to travel on our homelands of which our fathers have walked upon. We will be able to embrace the freedom in which we struggled for and inshAllah on that day, humanity will witness our blood, sweat, and tears of which we worked hard in order to liberate Palestine; the world will see Palestine have a distinguished mark on the map.
